Discover Your Path features Matt Surges, a mentor, leader, and Superintendent at Power Construction. In 2016, Matt enrolled in Power's Assistant Project Engineer program while attending school at Joliet Junior College. Learning more about the program, he changed his major from architecture to construction management to learn more about the industry while getting on-hands training. With dedication and determination, Matt excelled as a Project Engineer in the healthcare division, working simultaneously on million-dollar construction projects. Seven years later, as Superintendent I, he continues to expand his knowledge of technical aspects of construction while exploring various market sectors.
